I received a recommendation from my realtor to use Taurus Electrical Service on Thurs afternoon—she has used their service before and also recommended their service to others. Taurus worked with my schedule and set up a visit for the next day (Friday)! Taurus employee, Nick, arrived perfectly on time, he was eager to understand my concerns, diagnose the issue, and fix the problem. Recognizing the first hour was a flat rate charge, Nick was interested to hear any other concerns I might have…I expressed concern about one other smaller issue we’d encountered—he jumped right on it and fix that issue too. The whole encounter was professional, and I will certainly recommend their service to others with residential electrical issues. ~ Erik R

Taurus is a superior electrical repair agent! I had a panel circuit breaker malfunction which affected about half of my single family dwelling. I put in a service call to Taurus electrical services at approximately 2:00 p.m. and an extremely professional and courteous courteous technician showed up before 4:00 p.m. He quickly diagnosed and repaired my broken panel in an expeditious and professional manner. I highly recommend Taurus electrical services for whatever your problem might be and I'm sure you will be totally satisfied with their expert service. I will not hesitate to contact Taurus electrical services with any future electrical problems I might encounter. Kudos! ~ Harry F

I would use them again! A breaker went out around 1 a.m. on New Year’s Day 2026, leaving parts of my house without power. I contacted my Home Warranty company, AHS, but their local electrical vendor couldn’t come until 1/10/26, which was unacceptable. I searched for a local Vacaville electrical contractor and found Taurus. After reviewing my situation, they quoted me a flat rate. We agreed on a 3 p.m. appointment, and the electrician arrived on time, replaced the breaker, and checked and tightened all other connections. The work was completed in under an hour for the agreed flat rate. Thumbs up for Taurus! ~ Chris S

I had power run out to my yard for lighting and a water feature. They did an excellent job. Steve (the owner) is very personable and let me know all aspects of the job he was going to do and priced it very fairly. Thankfully he figured out a way to get the wiring under my sidewalk without cutting the concrete. It took him a while to get the wire under the concrete but I was very happy that he was able to do it. The whole job was done perfectly and the cleanup was impeccable, you would never have known a major job was done that day. I highly recommend them and will use them for all of my electrical needs in the future. ~ Stan B

We had a positive experience with Steve and his apprentice, I am sorry I forgot his name. Steve had the apprentice take the lead on this job, and he watched how he performed the job. And asked him appropriate questions as he was going along. And Steve then finished up the job. My husband did comment to me that he preferred that Steve the professional, did the entire job. He also felt that the job took longer because of the apprentice doing this job instead. We enjoyed dealing with Steve, he was easy to talk to and professional. And I will be contacting him again when I receive the generator. ~ Barbara M

Taurus is a great company to work with. We had a lot of electrical work that needed to be done on a house we had purchased. They treated us with respect throughout the process. Steve gave us an estimated time line and stuck to it. Nick was also always very professional with the work he did, always polite and courteous. Both took time to explain things to us and answer questions as they came up. We do have some more electrical work that will need to be done eventually, and we will definitely be calling Taurus again. ~ Jason S

Outstanding job all around, fixed issues with switch/light fixture that was improperly installed by previous electrician. Work was done quickly, professionally, safely and most important correctly. Also, after he fixed the switch we initially called about he fixed several other small issues around the house. Basically he stayed and fixed stuff for the full hour he was going to be paid even though it was above and beyond the original job! Can’t recommend highly enough, we will definitely use again for any future electric needs. ~ Trent G

Appointment time 1:30- arrival 1:25 pm NOT a phone call twenty minutes after scheduled time saying he was on his way. Appreciate the the fact he was on time. Quality workmanship- knowledgeable and personable. Steve took the time to explain what he was doing in layman terms, so I could understand. There was an issue with my generator- not his work- and he came back multiple times to troubleshoot the generator issue. HIGHLY RECOMMEND and will be using Steve anytime I need electrical work done. ~ Jason M

I will definitely hire Taurus Electrical again! I also highly recommend them to anyone needing electrical services. Steve and Nick are true professionals of their craft which was obvious from start to finish. They were straightforward and precise which left me almost no questions about how they were going to proceed in installing four ceiling fans/lights in my home. The job took a little longer which was not their fault since my attic crawl space was tight, packed with so much insulation, and excruciatingly hot from the July heat. Nick kept working with a smile in his face for another couple hours until the job was complete and that I was satisfied with the work they made. I also very much appreciate the fact that they were always on time, made sure they did not leave any mess, and that they educated me on how my new upgrade works. Steve also uses a very reliable web-based business tool that makes agreement, scheduling, and payment very convenient especially for those who are busy. Thank you, Steve and Nick! I called a total of 5 electricians. 1 blew me off and didn't even return my call. 1 was too busy and not doing residential. 1 was very nice and sounded too good to be true, and was when he didn't call me back like he said he would. 1 made an appointment to come out and was a no-show. And then there's Taurus Electrical Services. I received a return call promptly. The technician came out the next day and fixed it at a reasonable cost. Done. Our experience with Taurus Electric has been great. They were always on time and communicating was excellent. Taurus is a company that we feel we can trust to get the job done and done right. We are happy with new electrical outlet that was installed in our sunroom and they fixed the connections to our two ceiling fans that had not been working for awhile. Excellent electrical work! He arrived on time and was able to get the work done quickly. We had 4 light fixtures placed, a replacement of an electrical socket and placement of a new outdoor socket. He explained why an outdoor outlet would not be of help in the place I had chosen and offered an alternative, which I took, and he installed. We had a ceiling fan changed & work done on our attic fan. Taurus was so easy to work with. Immediately I got an appointment & a few days later they did the work. We chose to employ Steve for upgrading our internal fuse panel in our garage after getting a free estimate from him.
